(Application Closed) Job Role: UX (User Experience) Designer 

Salary depends on experience. £25 – £30K

At Atomic Smash we are looking for a skilled UX designer to join our small team.

We need someone who is keen to learn, has a passion for the web and is looking for an opportunity to work within a small outfit. Atomic Smash have built a reputation for delivering high quality WordPress websites and we would like another team member to work on existing and new projects. As well as planning WordPress driven sites there is also scope for learning new technologies and expanding your skillset further.

We want our team members to be constantly learning and therefore we always have internal projects which pushes our R&D and we are always on the lookout for conferences / talks for team members to attend.

We have a good mix of new project work coming through the studio as well as supporting our existing clients. We want to work with clients who see the value in their website and are keen to continually test, measure and optimise their sites.

A typical day for the candidate in the office may possibly include:

  • Producing Prototypes – Paper and or Digital
  • Creating Wireframes / Prototypes
  • Arranging testing
  • Reviewing websites / QA
  • Using Sketch
  • Articulating ideas clearly to the rest of the team
  • Explaining ideas to clients using whatever tools are needed to get the point across
  • Project Planning
  • Running Workshops
  • Engaging with users and stakeholders
  • Project Management

An online portfolio of work will be required.
